4th of July Fireworks Light Up Onslow County

If you are a patriotic lover of a good ole fashioned fireworks show, Onslow County has not one, not two but FOUR fireworks shows for you to enjoy.


Onslow County’s Freedom Festival

Come out and enjoy the 4th of July at the 33rd Annual Onslow County Freedom Festival held at Onslow Pines Park.  Gates open at 3 pm.  Enjoy food, crafts, amusement rides, a petting zoo, inflatables, and a car show.

Entertainment is from 3 pm until 9 pm with the sounds of The Buzzrocket Band, Jay Barnes “Elvis” and The Carousels “Premier Variety Band”.  Main Stage Entertainment is from 5 pm until 9 pm with Carolina Beach Music Legends, Jim Quick & Coastline Band.  Fireworks start @ 9pm.

Due to increased traffic,  Freedom Festival organizers remind patrons to arrive early.  Festival Parking is FREE.  Catch the shuttle at the Satellite Park-And-Ride Shuttle area s located at New River Harley Davidson starting @5:30pm.  See all of the details here.

4th of July in Swansboro

Want to watch fireworks on the water?  Swansboro will have a spectacular display of fireworks over the White Oak River.  Swansboro and Cedar Point partner to make this event one you’re sure to remember.  Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy music by the sea with The Tams, before the grand event.  Food vendors will be in attendance, so come with an appetite!

Liberty Fest & Fireworks in Holly Ridge

Gate opens at 3pm at the Holly Ridge Municipal Park, and festivities last until 9pm with the main event – a fireworks show getting started.  Enjoy The Carolina Band along with food, inflatables, games, pony rides, arts & crafts and more.   See all the details here.

Camp Lejeune’s 75th Celebration

Camp Lejeune’s 4th of July Celebration is extra special as we commemorate America turning 240 and Camp Lejeune 75!  This year’s event returns bigger and better than ever! Headlining this year’s event is national recording artist, television personality, and North Carolina native, Kellie Pickler.  More information here.
